Burger & Beer Week in Columbus, Ohio, put on by 614 Magazine, Day 4 at The Goat, Hilliard

So for yesterday, Day 4 of (614) Magazine Burger & Beer Week my friend Nevin Hilliard and myself dined for lunch at The Goat.

The restaurant is located at:
4265 Brooklands Dr
Hilliard, OH, 43026

We were served by Calyn (who was awesome) and the 614 special was the Classic Burger served with House Bacon, Bree Cheese, Bacon Jam, and I also ordered their House made Tator tots that is served with their Beer Cheese dip. I had a The Actual Brewing Company IPA.

The burger was sweet from the Bree and jam. The Bree with the Bacon gives you a savory taste. Bacon jam, well that is one of those nice touches to a burger that I will not forget anytime soon. The Tator tots made me think of Hush Puppies (potato instead of bread) in their appearance, and they are a great way to transfer and soak of the Beer cheese.

I believe the IPA was the Conductor, and you get a little bit of bitter, fast and then it just seemed to clean the taste out. This was another situation where you are having a beer that brings you back to taste everything anew.

The restaurant was like a castle. It is large, with an outdoor volleyball area, they have Euchre leagues, a lot of tvs, at least two serving bars, several really nice dining tables, a lounge room, and more!

Our service was wonderful, nothing wrong with our orders, served promptly. I would say this was my best stop so far, and could be for the promotion.

Thanks for reading, and hope your Friday is great!
